Dynasty Wine Cellar 798

 This is a renovation project located in the famous 798 Art District of Beijing. Under the condition of small space and limited budget, it’s not easy to produce a wonderful design effect. We decided to utilize abandoned wooden wine boxes as the main materials to form the theme wall of the wine cellar as well as a storage room from a partition, above which we designed a mezzanine office space. Meanwhile the wooden boxes serve as the stairs which make people immediately feel like they are entering a world of wine. The tactful piling up of wooden boxes helps to form a space of extreme distinction, thereby carefully controlling the construction cost and at the same time achieving the goal of sustainable reuse.
