Shenyang Agricultural Park

The design is a proposal for a tourist agricultural plan in Xinglongbao, Shenyang. Through the creation of the Museum of Agriculture, the city government tries to provide the public with a way to learn more about the forms of production in the locality while recognizing both the agricultural practices and those who make possible such a highly-regarded activity.
We create a new topography, new geographies on the ground; mineral and vegetable landscapes in which the movements and flows are articulated by a manipulated geography and a generated space. Buildings are hidden in the landscape. In the design strategy we create a central circulation space linked to different thematic parks. A central movement connection with different paths will allow an easy movement across the site for visitors. Three different routes organize the movement of visitors: leisure and tourism routes, an eco-tourism route and a cultural route.
The basis of the masterplan is to show the history and agricultural culture of Shenyang. Visitors can learn more about the local forms of production and the traditional agricultural production processes.
